Alumni: a past member of the sorority
Active: a fully initiated member of the sorority
AGC: Asian Greek Counsil of Southern California conisisting of 22 Asian-American fraternities and sororities of Southern California
Bid: a formal invitiation to join a sorority
IFC/Panhellenic: The Interfraternity/ Sorority Greek Council
Family: refers to relations within the sorority consisiting of big and lil sisses
Lavalier: the gold charm of sorority letters worn on a chain which designates an active member
New Active: a recent active initiated; the most recent pledge class
Pledge: a trial member of the sorority working to become an active; Theta pledge term is 2 & 1/4 quarters
Pledge Sister: a sister that has rushed and pledged the same year as another sister
Rushee: a person participating in rush week activities
Sister: a term used by an active of the sorority when referring to another active
